What tool does GSA provide to assist agencies/organizations with preventative measures/program management for the travel charge card program?

  • GSA developed and hosts a web-based training course for the proper use of travel charge cards. To visit the travel charge card online training, click on www.gsa.gov/sptraveltraining
  • The annual GSA SmartPay® Conference for A/OPCs provides training on bank Internet systems, best practices and program management;
  • The Travel Charge Card Roundtable for travel charge card A/OPCs meets quarterly to share best practices.
  • The Fraud Work Group meets with travel charge card A/OPCs, and specifically addresses travel charge card misuse and fraud;
  • GSA published a travel charge card "A/OPC Guide", to assist travel charge card A/OPCs in detecting and preventing travel charge card misuse and fraud. You can download or learn how to order printed copies of the manual on the GSA SmartPay® 2 website at www.gsa.gov/gsasmartpay.
