8. What tools does GSA provide to assist agencies/organizations with preventative measures/program management for the Purchase Charge Card program?

  • GSA developed and hosts a Web-based training course for the proper use of Purchase Charge Cards. To visit the Purchase Charge Card Online Training, click on http://fss.gsa.gov/webtraining/trainingdocs/smartpaytraining.
  • The annual GSA SmartPay® 2 Conference for A/OPCs provides training on bank Internet systems, best practices and program management.
  • A FREE publication, Blueprint For Success: Purchase Charge Card Oversight is a manual designed to assist Purchase Charge Card A/OPCs in detecting and preventing Purchase Charge Card misuse and fraud. This manual will discuss the subject of fraud in much more detail.
  • Helpful Hints for Purchase Card Use is a card-sized brochure provides information on the purchase card, including do's and don't's.
